Teenage pregnancy is a national pandemic! – Dr Shaheda Omar is calling for the President to act

More than 100 girls aged 10 to 14 gave birth in the Eastern Cape between April and July this year, with nearly 5,000 teenage pregnancies recorded overall in that period.

I have previously reached out to find out more info and details on the Foundations Teen Pregnancy programme and services. Please send and connect my to the Head of this programme please.

I reached out on email to the person recommended by your call centre with no response. Morningside Rotary Club will be celebrating the Morhering Month of May with a have half seminar on ” Creating positive with and mothering experiences” at the Country Club Johannesburg in Woodmead on 30 May 2026 for the morning. I invited Teddy Bear Foundation Teen Pregnancy Program to Partner us at this event with a 25 minute speaker spot to promote the Teen Pregnancy Program and a no cost exhibition table at the event and a share of the funds raised after expenses. There is no other committment required from TBF Teen Pregnancy Programm re involved in running this fundraising event
